How Long To Remove A Unibrow With Laser Treatment?

Are you tired of spending your time and money on plucking or waxing your eyebrows into that perfectly defined, but natural shape? Are you embarrassed of that stubborn uni-brow dominating your forehead and distracting from your sparkling eyes?  If you have answered yes, then laser hair removal just might be an option for you to remove a unibrow.

Plucking and waxing can be a tedious and expensive task if you’re paying to have it done at a salon, especially when you consider the fact that your brows usually need to be groomed at least once a month…and let’s not forget about that painfully awkward “grow-out” period during which you have to pretend you don’t know there’s a field of stubble between your eyebrows.

An investing in laser hair removal could put an end to the painful experience for your brows, wallet, and self-esteem. Hair removal itself isn’t particularly cheap upfront and requires a large initial investment, but this will no doubt be worthwhile over a long period of time.

So let’s talk the logistics:

A standard eyebrow laser treatment will only take about 10 or 15 minutes. The catch is, that it’s recommended that you get six session of laser hair removal every six to eight weeks, this is the best way to remove a unibrow.

A treatment will typically cost anywhere between $100-$160 per which is fairly pricey, but almost all clinics will have monthly promotions, offer first-time customer deals or include other services for free or at a discounted price. Realistically you can count on taking thirty-six and forty-eight weeks to get your perfect brows—so nearly a year of waiting. That said, after every treatment you’ll notice a huge diminishment in the growth of your brow hair, so this is not to say that you’ll have to wait a whole year before seeing results!

In total the maximum price for the treatment could near the $1,280, but like we said—look for a package deal or discounted prices.

Aside from price, there area few other things you consider. In between treatments you wont be able to pluck or wax away any hairs that grow in. The technician will require some hair to know which follicles to laser which means you’re going to have to endure your unibrow until you receive your final treatment—but once again, as we said you’ll start noticing a huge decrease in hair after the first procedure.

As well, the treatment itself can be quite painful and can leave the area sore and pink for a little while, but then again, so does waxing and plucking. And what’s more, you only have to deal with the pain for about 10 minutes every month or so.

On the bright side, if you do choose laser hair removal, you’ll only have to put up with this short list of cons for less than a year before enjoying a life of smooth and defined eyebrows.  Get ready to say goodbye to that uni-brow forever!

Obviously laser hair removal is a big investment in both time and money, but when it comes down to it, can you really put a price tag on the perfect brows?
